  1. I have to say Sandye’s Cafe & Cakes has Phenomenal Customer service & Outstanding cakes,pastries and a phenomenal Catering menu in the heart of Schenectady NY. Me as a customer got to know Sandye as a Frequent customer and we became close friends as well as advice on how something looks or taste because I keep it 100 but I am a pastry chef & Master Choclotier myself and with the amount of bakeries opening across the region I have to say other’s may have really nice decorative skills but at the end of the day Sandye’s cakes are still #1 in flavor,creative design. The biggest challenge of being a pastry chef is that, unlike other types of chefs, you can’t throw things together at a farmer’s market. When your working with baking powder and a formula, you have to be exact. If not, things can go wrong.
