I traveled to California to celebrate and make my 2 year old granddaughter’s birthday cake. The parents wanted a girly soccer theme cake. Stella stuck her finger in the buttercream while cake was in the refrigerator so I added the diamond pattern with pearls to cover up to the top layer.
The top two layers are vanilla white cake covered with vanilla Buttercream.
The bottom layer is covered in fondant hexagon shapes. The topper was made out of Rice Krispy treat and covered in fondant. The board was baked fondant and hand painted scrolls were added to edge.

This cake is considered a steampunk cake. All of the flowers are edible as well as the goggles which are 100% sugar materials and edible. The light bulb on the side is blown sugar and is lit up with led lights. I used an amazing product on the goggles called flexique which made it so the wafer paper could become pliable and resemble leather.
